The Choker Is Back – So Now There’s A Neck Dilemma
The choker is back yet again. I was given this velvet choker with a little cameo brooch by my mother. She used to wear it in the 60s and 70s, and I have worn it in the 90s, noughties and now. But, now I am older, my neck is older too…
They say the hands and neck age first, so in a way the choker draws attention to this. I use face cream, hand creams and body creams religiously and my neck does get moisturised, but only as an after thought. Having resurrected my choker, I wanted to know if there were any great products out there, specifically designed to work on the neck area.
Here are a few of the products I have found that have really helped:
This is a mid-priced product, it is quite perfumed and the rollers almost like instruments of torture. They are quite prickly, but they do invigorate the skin. It is not my favourite of the neck products, but it certainly stimulates the problem areas.
This is for the neck and bust, which is fab. It says to use morning and night, but for me it has a strong hemp type smell, which I wouldn’t want to smell of in the day. It’s very earthy, but a lovely product.
Strivectin tightening neck serum is brilliant. The packaging and mechanism of the roller is genius. It’s a good product with great results. Perfect for smoother tighter skin!
