CARAT* London Autism Charity Event
I was really happy when Mo Mohsenin, the director of Pink Umbrella Marketing, asked me if I was interested in hosting a charity event in conjunction with CARAT* London. They had generously offered the use their beautiful Covent Garden shop for the event and 30% of sales on the night would to go to my chosen charity.

I immediately picked The International Pre-Autistic Network, a charity that runs alongside Dr Stella Acquerone’s Parent Infant Clinic in Hampstead. Dr Acquerone worked with my son, Valentino, and my family when we learned he was autistic in 2006.
Because of their unique approach, the therapy and intensive courses do cost a lot of money, and IPAN raises money for those who need the help, but cannot pay for it.

It was a fun evening of bubbles, elder flower fizz, delicious macaroons, jewellery shopping and conversation. Sadly, a seriously rainy day saw some no shows, but thankfully lots of my friends and colleagues made it.
CARAT* London kindly donated a killer earring and necklace set, that were locked in a perspex box. The keys were sold to our guests (all proceeds of this went to IPAN too) and the lucky person with the right key, opened the box to receive the beautiful bling inside! The lucky person was Jo Wiggins, who has a fifteen year old son on the autistic spectrum.
